Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what information VendorStax collects, how we use it, and what choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose — you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand it.

What we collect

When you sign up for VendorStax, we collect your name and email address (via Google OAuth sign-in). We don't store your Google password — Google handles that.

As you use the app, we store the data you enter: your inventory, show records, trade logs, buyer notes, and consignor details. That data belongs to you.

We also collect basic usage information (like which features you use and how often) to help us improve the app. This is anonymous and not tied to your personal identity.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the app and give you access to your account. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to build marketing profiles.

If you give us your email address, we may send you product updates and important notices. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time — just reply "unsubscribe" or email us directly.

Where your data is stored

VendorStax uses Supabase (a secure cloud database) to store your data. Your data is stored in the United States. Supabase uses row-level security, which means your data is isolated from other vendors — no one else can see your inventory, customers, or records.

How we keep your data safe

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and database-level access controls. No system is 100% bulletproof, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You can ask us to export your data, correct anything that's wrong, or delete your account at any time. Just email us at hello@vendorstax.com and we'll take care of it promptly.

Third-party services

VendorStax uses Google OAuth for sign-in. By signing in with Google, you agree to Google's privacy policy. We also use Supabase for data storage. Neither of these services receives your card inventory or business data.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know by email or by posting a notice in the app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
